We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who’s looking for a hands-on Despatch Team Leader to take charge of their busy despatch department.
This is a key role overseeing the full despatch process — from packing and sorting to client liaison and delivery coordination. You’ll lead a small team, ensure quality standards are met, and keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the production team
* Manage despatch, delivery, and logistics (including imports/exports)
* Prepare orders, invoices, and fulfil customer requirements
* Maintain accurate stock records and control goods in/out
* Liaise with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines
* Ensure quality control, training, and health & safety standards
* Process improvement

* Previous experience in despatch, logistics, or warehouse supervision
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A proactive, quality-focused mindset
* Ability to manage workloads and motivate a team
