Role
Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is looking for a Coordinator to develop and grow a Fife Peer Support network. You willwork within the peer support principles of hope, empowerment, authenticity, responsibility, mutuality andexperience. You will work with the network to grow a shared understanding of the different types of peer supportand work with partners to co-produce a programme of training and workshops to embed peer support and practicewithin organisations across the statutory and third sector in Fife.
About You
FVA is looking for someone who has experience of working in the field of peer support and/or co-production, includingpractical experience of working with and supporting volunteers. You should have knowledge of the peer supportnetwork in Fife and have experience of organising events and training.
It’s essential that you are able to work well as part of a collaborative team and that you can lead projects,coordinating the work of all involved.

Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is looking for a Development Officer to support in designing, delivering and coordinatinga programme of co-production activity relevant to improving experiences and outcomes for employability clientsin Fife. You will review and identify gaps in relation to the voice of Lived Experience in employabilityprovision in Fife, and recruit and support volunteers to contribute to co-production projects. You will alsoprovide relevant administrative support.
For this post, we understand Lived Experience to mean that an individual has some experience of barriers toemployability and employment. These barriers may be structural, such as transport, housing, childcare orpersonal, for example, physical or mental health, disability, language or cultural issues. Whilst personal livedexperience will be helpful, this is not essential.

You will recruit, select, train and support volunteers, matching them with potential service users. You will alsonetwork with partner organisations to promote the service as well as the benefits of volunteering.
About You
FVA is looking for someone who has a background in community development. You will have experience of working with,motivating and supporting volunteers effectively.
It’s essential that you are confident in delivering presentations and engaging with stakeholders, with excellentcustomer service skills. You should be organised and efficient, with a personal commitment to equalopportunities.
