General & Technical Flooring Services Ltd is a leading commercial flooring contractor based in Scotland, with offices in Aberdeen and Livingston. You will join the Livingston office, providing support throughout the office.
Responsibilities
* Become a key digital support staff member in the office, collaborating between office staff and manufacturing staff. Ensure scheduling is completed accurately between departments on the Microsoft Outlook calendar.
* Be a super-user of bespoke software Callidus. Use this to assist the sales staff in setting prices and generating quotes for upcoming jobs, plus managing and ordering stock for upcoming projects.
* Use accountancy software Xero to a high level. Generate and send invoices and process VAT returns, in collaboration with suppliers and the sales team.
* Utilise Microsoft Outlook to manage personal and general office inboxes, responding professionally and in a timely manner.
* Assist in the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics throughout the company to increase efficiency in tracking sales leads and opportunities. Use Dynamics to handle customer service requests with a high level of accuracy.
* Use all aspects of the Microsoft Suite, including managing inbound and outbound calls through Teams, data entry in Excel, and reviewing invoices in Word.
* Be responsible for keeping the company social media pages (LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook) up-to-date to drive sales and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
Desirable skills
* Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Good communication skills.
Salary
£15,704 per annum.
Working hours
Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm.
