We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Henbury looking for a Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September.
This is a full-time permanent role in a supportive school with a strong focus on creating a positive start to education for every child. The school has a collaborative staff team, approachable leadership, and a nurturing environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to grow and succeed.
The role would suit an experienced EYFS teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a school with strong mentoring and support in place.
The role
As the Reception Teacher, you’ll:
* Plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework
* Support children’s early development across communication, literacy, numeracy and social skills
* Create a calm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
* Build strong routines and positive relationships with pupils and families
* Observe and assess progress to support individual development
* Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure every child has the best possible start

We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception
* Understands child-led learning and early development
* Creates engaging and structured learning experiences
* Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
* Is committed to supporting every child’s progress and wellbeing
