Job Description
Role
As an experienced Live-In Carer, you’ll be supporting older adults in their own home with providing reassurance and helping them feel safe at home.
Key Tasks
1. Provide round-the-clock care, including personal care, companionship and home help
2. Be a consistent and comforting presence, offering support tailored to each client’s unique needs
3. Assist with tasks such as cooking, medication reminders, housekeeping and emotional support
4. As a Live-In Care Professional, you will receive with 3 meals a day or food allowance to be discussed upon interview. Your own room to stay in and access to a TV and WiFi and a 2 hour break each day, when best for our clients
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
5. A valid Category B driving license is a genuine occupational requirement for this role due to the need to travel between remote sites where public transport is unavailable.
6. Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS
7. You have the right to work in the UK
8. This post is open to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of the intimate support services provided to female service users
Desirable:
9. Level 4 English and IT literate
10. Dementia experience
11. A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference
12. Resilient, reliable, proactive with a can-do attitude
13. DBS on the Update Service
