Overview
The Pharmacy Department provides a fully comprehensive pharmaceutical service across the Trust and to a number of external community units. We are a large and busy department with over 180 staff including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants and admin and clerical staff. We work as a team to provide the various functions and services whilst maintaining a high level of patient care.
To support an expansion of chemotherapy services at the NNUH, we have received new funding for our Aseptics Unit to enable us to increase capacity. Pharmacy Technicians and Science Manufacturing technicians are vital members of the aseptic team who work closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants and other staff within the Pharmacy and Trust. There is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Aseptic Services Technician to join our large and busy aseptics team. You will either already be registered with the GPhC or the Science Council or be recently qualified/close to qualifying and preparing to register. Please note: if you are close to qualifying as a Pharmacy Technician, you will be required to have completed 2 years’ work experience with your current employer and gain registration with the GPhC before you can start work with us in this post.
We also provide details of our trust values and the working environment throughout this advert.
