Job Description:
Responsible for the overall design and development of integrated computer vision (CV) based products/solutions. Creates and implements new CV functions, develops and integrates new CV system elements, or uses traditional and deep-learning CV algorithms to solve applied problems in various domains in the video and vision market such as automotive, security and surveillance, retail, robotics, professional A/V, medical, and industrial. Interacts with users to define software and/or hardware requirements for CV-based products/solutions in either research environments or specific product environments, utilizes relevant programming methodologies to translate CV algorithms into software and hardware, and/or build components of a CV solution (e.g., CV software stack). Engineers computing frameworks, methodologies, and other relevant software tools/flows. Completes programming, debugging, testing, validation, power/performance optimization, documentation, and deployment as a standalone product or as an integrated design solution for a specific platform (e.g., x86, Arm core, FPGA, GPU).
Responsibilities
* Design and develop integrated CV-based products/solutions.
* Create and implement new CV functions and CV system elements.
* Translate CV algorithms into software and hardware; build components of CV solutions (e.g., CV software stack).
* Engineer computing frameworks, methodologies, and software tools/flows.
* Perform programming, debugging, testing, validation, power/performance optimization, documentation, and deployment.
* Deliver solutions as standalone products or integrated designs for platforms (e.g., x86, Arm, FPGA, GPU).
Qualifications
* Requirements capture and design specification definition
* Defining IP or system architecture
* All stages of RTL design, including timing closure and QOR optimization
* Developing and executing basic test coverage and other related validation activities; working closely with verification engineers
* IP modelling and basic embedded software/driver development
* Requirements tracking, version control, and documentation
* FPGA-based Board Support Package development and optimization
* Interactions with local and remote teams as well as customers
