Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing - Planned Maintenance, Voids & Electrical

We are working with a successful and growing Social Housing contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Essex, delivering a portfolio of works including Planned Maintenance, Voids, Decarbonisation and Electrical contracts.
We are looking for a proven commercial professional ideally with experience in social housing refurbishment programmes, with knowledge of internal and external planned maintenance programmes and a comprehensive commercial understanding of subcontractor procurement and cost management, the CVR process, as well as excellent client relationship skills.
As the Quantity Surveyor for our client, some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Control all expenditure
2. Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts
3. On-boarding of Sub contractors/suppliers
4. Ensuring value for money & financial assessments
5. Manage day to day cost control & monitoring & reporting
6. Process Sub contractor requests for payment via application & invoice
7. Attend project & company related meetings
8. Ensure timely cash flow management
