Job Description
We're looking for a Deputy Manager to ensure the organisation consistently meets and exceeds regulatory standards (CAA, EASA, FAA Part 145 & Part 21). The role involves oversight of audits, training, competencies, and safety procedures to maintain compliance and drive operational efficiency.\n\nJob Purpose\n\nTo carry out all day-to-day regulatory services with responsibility for ensuring the organisation meets or exceeds the necessary regulatory requirements and standards.\nWorking with, and reporting through, the Head of Safety, Compliance & Quality, liaising with a range of clients and wider business units to drive efficiency and growth.\n\nPart 145 / 21 Responsibilities & Duties:\n\nReport all compliance and safety issues to the Head of Safety, Compliance & Quality or the Accountable Manager (in their absence).\nEnsure the quality of workmanship in final products meets organisational and regulatory body standards.\nMaintain competence of all personnel by keeping records and establishing training and continuation training programmes through the Training and Compliance Manager(s), using on-the-job instruction and evaluation examinations.\nEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with regulations by auditing all organisational functions and sites.\nEnsure all employees are familiar with and fully understand company procedures as laid down in all documentation.\nAct as deputy during the absence of the Head of Safety, Compliance & Quality.\nEnsure all administrative duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner.\n\nQualifications / Demonstrate\n\nSound knowledge and understanding of Part 145 (CAA, EASA, FAA) & Part 21 regulations\nExcellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills\nExcellent technical skills\nProficient in MS Office and project management tools\nCommitment to high-quality performance\nAbility to prioritise workload and work under pressure\nAbility to work both independently and within a team\n\nExperience\n\nSupplier relationship management\nAviation industry experience\nStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and commercial awareness\nProfessional telephone manner\n\nHours of Work & Salary\n\nFull Time: Monday to Friday\nHours: 08:00-17:00 (1 hour lunch)\nAnnual Leave: 20 days + 8 UK Bank Holidays\n\nPlease Note this position requires right to work in UK.
