There’s more to being a driver than simply sitting behind the wheel. As a driver for Arbury Court, you will ensure the service runs smoothly by transporting your team and service users to various locations within the community and collecting them on time.
Working alongside the team at Arbury Court, there is a strong emphasis on teamwork and support. You will be encouraged to reach your full potential and have opportunities to develop your skillset, including supporting other departments such as Administration and Security.
As a Driver, your responsibilities include maintaining the vehicle, keeping records, and ensuring it is in good condition. You must hold a clean UK driving license for at least 2 years. You will work various shifts, including early mornings starting at 6am and weekends.
As a Driver, you will:
1. Drive patients and staff to various locations, ensuring journeys are safe, timely, and efficient.
2. Transport staff and visitors as directed by the Line Manager; deliver consumables or assets when not engaged in other duties.
3. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of hospital vehicles, reporting damages or faults immediately.
4. Keep vehicles fueled and maintain up-to-date records, available upon request.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A full UK driving license with a clean record

Where you will be working:
Join the multidisciplinary team at Arbury Court, providing care for adult women in medium, low secure, and PICU environments, especially those with Personality Disorder and Mental Health conditions.
The care approach is person-centered, focusing on individual needs rather than just the illness.
The location offers good transport links via the M62 junction 9 in Winwick, making it accessible from most areas between Liverpool and Manchester.
