Job Introduction
We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join Wythenshawe Hospital. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will ensure that all planned preventative and reactive maintenance related to electrical services are performed according to legislation, codes of practice, manufacturers' recommendations, HTMs, HBNs, HSE recommendations, and are completed on time and within contractual response times.
What You'll Do:
* Oversee daily operations, manage trade staff and subcontractors.
* Ensure all statutory and non-statutory PPM work complies with relevant legislation and standards.
* Produce rosters for maintenance activities, assigning tasks to DEL and subcontractors.
* Conduct risk assessments for maintenance activities and perform checks on live and completed works.
* Promote health and safety on-site, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
* Manage remedial actions for repairs and PPM jobs, and advise the Operations Manager as needed.
* Assist with fault finding and system troubleshooting.
* Maintain accurate records of electrical PPM and other relevant documents.
* Support the Operations Manager with operational and technical issues.
What You Bring:
Essential
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations/Maintenance
* City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
* Experience managing staff and contractors
* Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
Desirable
* Knowledge of UPS/IPS systems, backup generators, nurse call systems, and fault finding
* Full UK Driving Licence
