Job Title: Team Leader
Location: Northampton
Salary: £30,600 plus £55 per sleep ins
Hours: Eiither 7am-10pm or 8am-11pm, 3 shifts a week on a 3-week rolling rota.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Team Leader to join a new residential home, providing high-quality residential care to children aged 717 with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviours.
About the Role
As a Team Leader you'll help create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of the young residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children with day-to-day routines, personal care, and activities
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans and reports
* Administer medication and ensure all policies are followed
* Take part in household duties and encourage independence
* Act as a key worker and provide regular one-to-one support
* Respond to emergencies and implement safeguarding procedures
* Work in partnership with families, social workers, and professionals
* Participate in team meetings, training, and supervision
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people
* Must hold Level 3 in Residential Childcare
* Driving Licence is strongly favourable
* A genuine passion for supporting those with additional needs
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-in shifts
