Job Responsibilities
1. Provide intensive 'End to End' support for individuals who are rough sleeping with complex needs.
2. Advocate and enable access to appropriate services, including housing, by collaborating with local networks.
3. Assist individuals facing issues such as housing, substance misuse, offending behaviour, mental health, and physical health challenges.
4. Facilitate one-to-one and group interventions to address alcohol and drug use.
5. Support community-based positive lifestyle changes for clients.
6. Build resilience and confidence in clients, helping them meet their aspirations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1. Experience in outreach work or support services for individuals with complex needs.
2. Understanding of homelessness, substance misuse, mental health, and offending behaviour issues.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
5. Empathy and a non-judgmental attitude.
6. Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, or related fields are desirable.
7. Knowledge of local services and resources for homeless individuals.
8. Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.
