Our client is a large format graphics company based in Hampshire, they are currently looking for a Large format Printer to join their growing team.
Job Detail
1. Operate large format printing machinery with precision, adjusting settings and conducting tests to produce high-quality prints.
2. Manage the printing and cutting of materials efficiently, coordinating with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
3. Perform regular maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance, reducing downtime and minimizing the risk of malfunctions.
4. Monitor stock levels of printing materials and supplies and ordering as necessary.
5. Maintain quality control measures throughout the printing process, ensuring that each print job meets or exceeds our quality standards.
6. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, demonstrating politeness, respect, and effective communication with colleagues.
Essential Skills
7. Experience using Caldera (beneficial - not essential)
8. Operating UV, Solent and Latex Printers
9. Proven experience as a Large Format Printer Operator or in a similar role within the print production industry.
10. Strong technical knowledge of large format printing equipment and processes.
11. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
12. Ability to troubleshoot issues.
13. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
14. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
15. A positive attitude and the ability to remain polite and professional in all situations.
16. Comfortable with some heavy lifting tasks.
