Job Overview
Working within the front‑of‑house team, you will support the efficient running of the Visitor Centre operation on a day‑to‑day basis, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring high standards of presentation are met. The role has a particular focus on membership sales and answering visitor questions at the point of entry to Wakehurst.
Responsibilities
• Support the efficient running of the Visitor Centre operation on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high presentation standards.
• Focus on membership sales.
• Answer visitor questions at the point of entry.
• Provide a warm, friendly welcome and give information and advice to visitors on how to make the best out of their visit.
Qualifications
• Enthusiasm and great customer‑service skills.
• Previous experience working in a customer‑service or retail environment.
• Experience with a membership product is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving, public‑facing environment.
Salary & Benefits
• Salary: £26,119 per annum (pro‑rata) – Grade 1A.
• 10 hours per week, alternating Thu‑Fri and Sat‑Sun.
