SEN Teaching Assistant

The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support to our students. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities

* Assist the class teacher in delivering dynamic and engaging lessons.
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to student needs.
* Monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
* Cultivate a safe, supportive, and positive classroom atmosphere.
* Collaborate effectively with a talented and passionate teaching team.
* Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and their families.
* Contribute to our positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements

* A valid UK driving licence is essential.
* Experience supporting students with SEN is preferred.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a strong sense of purpose.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Competitive salary: £85 - £92 per day (depending on experience and qualifications).

Experience & Qualifications

* 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
* Relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
