We seek enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals to join our Early Years team as an Early Years Apprentice in our vibrant primary school setting. They will work with children under the age of five to support their learning and development and help them achieve their full potential. Key Details Salary: £7.55 per hour Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:15am – 3:30pm, 1 day will finish at 3:45pm (34 hours) Term time only Location: All Saints Road, Speke, Liverpool, L24 3TF Apprenticeship Details – 19 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship or 19 months working towards Early Years Educator Level 3 (All learning is delivered online/ remote). Training Provider: LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider) As an Early Years Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced educators to support the development and well-being of children under the age of 5, including pupils with special educational needs, on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Main responsibilities: Supporting Children’s Learning and Development Helping children with early learning activities such as counting, drawing, reading, and play-based learning. Assisting With Daily Routines Helping with snack time, mealtime, toileting, handwashing, naptime supervision, and transitioning between activities. Creating a Safe and Welcoming Environment Setting up play areas, tidying resources, following health and safety procedures, and ensuring classrooms are clean and organised. Supporting Play and Social Interaction Engaging children in indoor and outdoor play, encouraging social skills, and helping them build confidence and independence. Observing and Recording Development Supporting staff in observing children’s progress and contributing to notes or developmental records. Working as Part of a Team Assisting qualified practitioners, following instructions, attending meetings or training sessions, and contributing ideas. Safeguarding and Child Welfare Following safeguarding policies, reporting concerns to senior staff, and maintaining confidentiality. Desired skills & Personal qualities: Enthusiastic, and have a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
