Overview
Your Role as a Post Person with Driving is to be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring deliveries are made come rain or shine. You’ll navigate your delivery routes, provide exceptional service, and ensure every parcel and letter reaches its destination safely. Important to Know: while some roles involve driving, the majority of the work is on foot, delivering letters and parcels directly within the community. Responsibilities
* Deliver letters and parcels to customers on assigned routes; work on foot and/or by vehicle as required.
* Offer excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail to the community.
* Nevigate routes efficiently and ensure deliveries reach their destination safely and on time.
Qualifications
* Driving Licence: Full, manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
* Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk long distances (e.g., 20,000 steps a day) and carry a bag up to 16 kg.
* Flexibility: Shifts can vary; ability to adapt at short notice.
