Overview
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with SEMH/ASC experience to join Brookthorpe Hall School, Gloucester. The role involves delivering an outstanding curriculum, motivating pupils, and supporting positive outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will work with pupils with complex learning needs, largely on a 1:1 basis to support transitions into school, and academic and personal progress.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with complex learning needs, primarily on a 1:1 basis.
* Assist in delivering an outstanding curriculum and supporting transitions into school.
* Promote positive outcomes for pupils and contribute to their academic and personal progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues and act as an ambassador for Brookthorpe Hall School.
Who We Are Looking For
Dynamic and passionate individuals with experience working with young people with complex learning needs. Ability to bring creativity and innovation to support, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding pupils.
What We Offer
* Permanent, term-time-only contract; 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm (part-time may be considered for the right applicant).
* Salary: £22,300 per annum (not pro rata).
* 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial options; 80% of hours for 100% pay, subject to probation.

Qualifications
* Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent) – essential
* Ability to drive school vehicles – desirable
