The Role
We are recruiting an experienced multi-skilled Carpenter with experience working within a social housing or local authority environment. Your responsibilities will include undertaking carpentry and other trade repairs and maintenance work to provide high-quality, ‘right first time’, cost-effective building services to our customers.
Applicants must have the ability to perform related trade tasks within their competency, hold an NVQ2 qualification or equivalent, and possess long-term relevant trade experience. Only apply if you have worked as a carpenter with extended skills in social housing.
You will conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work, and recognized industrial standards, ensuring minimal damage to property fabric.

To ensure safe, high-quality services, we will conduct a standard DBS background check after an offer is made. The organization will cover the DBS costs, and you will be enrolled in the DBS updating service with checks every three years.
