Acting as the in-house expert, the postholder will draw on regulatory knowledge, best practice and an understanding of residents housing needs to ensure Honeycombs approach is compliant, transparent, fair and delivers value for money.
Youwill also provide expert advice and support to internal teams, helping to ensure rent and service charge processes run smoothly, efficiently and in line with regulatory standards and relevant legislation.What youlldo: Ensure rent and service charge setting isaccurate, compliant with legislation, regulatory standards,contractsand internal policies.Maximise service charge income by accurately capturing andallocatingcosts in line with legislation,policyand agreements.Reconcile actual and estimated service charge costs, producing year-end accounts and informing future budgets.Maintain and improve systems,dataand processes to ensure accuracy,efficiencyanda single sourceof truth.Support colleagues and residents with queries and communications, while staying up to date with legislation and best practice.Who you are: CCAB/CIMA part-qualified or qualified by experience, with a strong commitment to CPD.Strong knowledge of social housing rent and service charge principles,legislationand regulatory requirements.Experience in the social housing or charity sector, with strong financial stewardship and understanding of controls,complianceand accounting standards.Excellent IT and systems skills, including advanced Excel and experience with finance/feeder systems.Strong communication, organisational and collaborative skills, with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and support change effectively.Apply now!
