Senior EC&I Engineer - The Role: As a Senior EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation engineering solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle — from concept design to commissioning. The role focuses on ensuring technical excellence, consistent performance, and strict adherence to all health and safety standards. Senior EC&I Engineer - Key Responsibilities: - Report to the Lead EC&I Engineer and deliver EC&I design within single- and multi-discipline engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects - Contribute across the full project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning, for both greenfield and brownfield applications - Support projects across major sectors including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, and Petrochemicals - Complete EC&I engineering and design in accordance with the defined project scope - Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of EC&I design deliverables - Assist the Lead Engineer in delivering designs on time and within budget, including managing change control - Coordinate EC&I engineering with other disciplines (Mechanical, Civil & Structural, Process, and Automation) to ensure integrated project delivery - Participate in internal and external design reviews, presenting designs to the Lead Engineer - Act as the EC&I Engineer on a single project or manage multiple projects simultaneously, depending on size and complexity Senior EC&I Engineer - You: - 3 years of experience as an EC&I Engineer in single- or multi-discipline projects within an Engineering, EPCM, or EPC company in oil & gas, nuclear, or similar sectors - Strong knowledge of EC&I engineering and design, with a solid understanding of other engineering disciplines - In-depth understanding of both Electrical and Instrumentation, with the capability to lead designs in both areas - Degree qualified (MEng, MSc, BSc, or BEng) in EC&I Engineering - Good knowledge of current British and International Standards - Security Clearance (SC) preferred - Results-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality designs that meet Lead Engineer approval and satisfy client expectations - Experience inspecting complex control systems, engaging with engineering teams on-site, and conducting root cause investigations after major incidents to prevent recurrence Senior EC&I Engineer - Benefits: - Competitive Salary - £70,000-£80,000 - 14% pension - Company car with fuel card - 28 days annual leave - Parental packages including maternity and paternity leave - Discounted membership for gym - Personal developments support - Private Health insurance To submit your CV for this exciting Senior EC&I Engineer opportunity, please click ‘Apply' now!
