Responsibilities
* Support adults with a learning disability as part of an inclusive team.
* Help create innovative ways to support individuals achieve their own personal goals, aims and ambitions. The support provided will vary to reflect each person’s needs.
* Support people in their daily lives, which may include helping develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, helping plan and manage their own home, and supporting leisure, employment, individual interests and travel.
* Support may occur in the person’s own home or out in the community. The role can be rewarding but also challenging and demanding.

* No previous experience or qualifications required; free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided.
* Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter with a high level of motivation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident, articulate, and professional.
