Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from instruction through to resolution.
* Provide clear, practical and strategic legal advice to clients.
* Draft pleadings, correspondence, witness statements and settlement agreements.
* Conduct legal research and prepare court documentation.
* Attend court hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations where required.
* Accurately record all time, both chargeable and non-chargeable, in accordance with firm procedures.
* Ensure files are maintained in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
* Maintain high standards of client care and communication throughout each matter.
* Contribute to business development initiatives and networking opportunities where appropriate.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 4 years’ PQE as a Litigation Solicitor.
* Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and work effectively to deadlines.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience in civil litigation.
* Proven ability to meet and exceed fee targets.
* Excellent client care skills with an empathetic and professional approach.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proactive, self-motivated and solution-focused.
* A cooperative and supportive approach to working with colleagues across the firm.
