Responsibilities
Corporateernance and ESG Research
1. Support the maintenance of a regular internal ESG, regulatory and corporateernance knowledge framework;
2. Provide analysis of best practice on key Voting, CG, ESG, DEI and Industry themes;
3. Prepare and support externally facing presentations on ESG and corporateernance developments,pany resolutions, shareholder voting policies and related key market and industry trends and best practice;
4. Support the preparation of regular externally facing remuneration, ESG, DEI and corporateernance updates; and
5. Undertake research projects, investor voting policy roadshows and analysis to support the corporateernance Managers.
Corporateernance and ESG Advisory
6. Support team members on delivering remuneration corporateernance & ESG advisory to clients;
7. Prepare informed research, detailed analyses, reports and briefing materials for clients with references to Corporateernance codes, policies and prevailing best practice within the legal, regulatory and political framework;
8. Provide qualitative and quantitative risk analyses using in house and third-party systems; and
9. Attend & minute client meetings as required.
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic passionate interest and knowledge in the following experience, skills and behaviours:
10. 1-3 years' experience working within the Corporateernance advisory/analytical fields, or delivering on corporateernance, executive remuneration or ESG matters, or within a relevant investor relations role;
11. Have demonstrable knowledge and experience of listed Corporateernance andpliance matters (especially the UK Corporateernance Code and the UKpanies Act);
12. Be proactive and enjoy keeping up to date with changes and developments in corporateernance,pany meetings, ESG, DEI and all other related industry matters and best practice requirements;
13. Goodmunication skills; capable of presenting, explaining and discussing research findings internally and externally;
14. Strong organisation and analytical skills;
15. Be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and databases
16. Have good data management and processing skills;
17. A proactive and hands-on attitude alongside the resilience to deliver to tight deadlines;
18. A facilitative approach; enjoys operating as part of a team and proactively builds relationships across the business;
19. The interpersonal skills associated with working within a professional advisory environment; and
20. The personal impact to set the appropriate tone and get to the core of issues quickly.
