About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor/lawyer to join my clients leading Private Client Team. We are seeking an driven and dedicated professional with at least 1 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) + to manage a complex and varied caseload, providing expert legal advice to high-net-worth individuals and families.
My client is a Top 200 Legal 500 firm based within the Midlands and Shropshire area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and tax matters.
* Handling high-value and complex estates, including international elements.
* Drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney, and trust documents.
* Managing probate applications and estate administration.
* Providing succession planning and asset protection advice.
* Collaborating with financial advisors and accountants to ensure comprehensive client service.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including STEP best practices (if applicable).

Skills & Experience Required:
* Solid experience in estate planning, wills, probate, and trusts, over 1 PQE
* Ideally, experience or exposure to taxation matters affecting estate planning
* STEP qualification (or working towards it) preferred
* Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
* Strong business development and commercial acumen and ability to build lasting client relationships.
