An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join a well-established environmental contracting business delivering a wide range of land remediation and earthworks projects across the UK.
This role would suit someone with practical site experience and a strong technical background in contaminated land, remediation, and environmental engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, planning, and delivery of remediation and earthworks projects
Carry out site investigations, sampling, monitoring, and data interpretation
Support project managers with technical input and site supervision
Ensure all work meets health, safety, and environmental compliance standards
Prepare reports, method statements, and risk assessments
Liaise effectively with clients, regulators, and subcontractorsCandidate Requirements
Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, Earth Science, or a related discipline
Proven experience working on remediation or contaminated land projects (field or project level)
Knowledge of environmental legislation and remediation techniques
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as requiredBenefits
