Site Financial Controller opportunity with the UK subsidiary of a €3Bn turnover award-winning, innovative, global leading manufacturer, and the World No 1 in delivering sustainable product solutions in its areas of expertise. As Site Financial Controller, you’ll be a pivotal member of the Site Leadership Team, working as the right hand of the Site Manager on site—remotely reporting to the UK Group Finance Director—with your remit including:
* Providing the Plant Management Team with financial and operational analysis, with narrative, to assist with effective Plant control.
* Preparation of management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flows.
* Local and Group level management information and KPI reporting.
* Site budget preparation, monitoring, and control.
* Short- and longer-term P&L performance forecasts.
* Site investment modelling, analysis, and reporting.
* Standard cost control (e.g., hourly rates, raw materials, costs, etc.).
* Supporting the preparation of tariffs and pricing/quotations.
* Customer risk analysis.
* Sales, margin, and profitability analysis by customer and by product.
* Annual site performance assessment / site action plans.
* Ensuring group standard compliance as well as compliance with tax, labour, and accounting regulations.
* Managing company insurance policies.
* Managing a small finance team.
Applicants should be CIMA qualified with previous experience of working as the No. 1 in Finance for a manufacturing plant, or someone who has been a No. 2 and is ready to make the step. SAP experience is essential, as are excellent communication skills and the gravitas/personality to forge strong relationships across all areas of the business. Salary up to £75k, with benefits including a 15% bonus, 4.5% pension, 25 days holidays (plus bank holidays).
