GSL Education are currently seeking a motivated and experienced PE Teacher to work in schools across the Hathersage area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver dynamic PE lessons that encourage teamwork, skill development, and a love of sport.
Key Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop students’ physical skills, fitness, and understanding of healthy lifestyles.
* Manage behaviour effectively to create a positive and safe learning environment.
* Organise and support extracurricular sports activities and competitions.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote PE and sport throughout school.
Requirements for a PE Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Experience teaching PE in UK schools.
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Enthusiasm for sports and promoting physical education.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
* A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
