Our Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering and sewerage pump applications, including a range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.
Reporting directly to the Head of Pump Services, the Technical Sales Representative (TSR) will be responsible for maximising Pump & Power Services hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business. This includes delivering sales presentations to major account customers at senior management level and attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering. The TSR will work with stakeholders across the GAP Group network, including Regional Sales Managers and their teams, to proactively promote hire opportunities for Pump & Power equipment within the existing customer base. Please note, this role will be responsible for driving revenue for our Cardiff & Tewkesbury depots, so the successful candidate should be suitably located.
About You
* Significant experience working in an area sales role within the Pumps or water treatment industry is essential
* A proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* An effective negotiator and problem solver who can work under pressure and prioritise workload
* Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
* Driving Licence (Essential)
