We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Center Engineer to join a Global technology company within their IT Infrastructure team.
You will have proven experience working with compute infrastructure in virtualised environments across both Windows and Linux platforms, with prior hands-on experience in a data centre setting being essential.
You'll join a technical team responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of critical data centre systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain data centre compute infrastructure, including physical servers, racks, blade systems, and HCI platforms
* Install, upgrade, and maintain physical server hardware
* Support virtualised platforms and troubleshoot VM-related issues
* Perform server racking and stacking activities
* Provide support across both Windows and Linux server environments
* Diagnose and resolve hardware faults, manage firmware updates, and coordinate supplier RMAs
