Sales Engineer – Photonics (Light Metrology & Spectroscopy)

We are seeking to appoint a Sales Engineer with responsibility for both sales and post‑sales support pertaining to instruments that measure light and the optical properties of materials. This role covers the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Candidates must possess as a minimum a first degree (BSc or equivalent) in physics or an engineering‑related discipline, alongside at least two years of relevant industry experience. Sales experience within the photonics sector is highly advantageous and a demonstrable history of successful sales will be considered a significant asset. Our consultative sales methodology requires candidates to have strong technical proficiency and outstanding communication skills. You should demonstrate attentive listening, adaptability, self‑motivation, and readiness to travel as part of a small collaborative team.
A competitive remuneration package, commensurate with experience, will be offered. This includes a basic salary, company car (or allowance), and performance‑related bonuses.
