We are looking for an experienced Commercial Panel Technician to join a large automotive repair group in recruiting an experienced Commercial Panel Technician. You’ll be repairing and replacing panels on LCVs and HGVs, working to recognised repair methods and high-quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Carrying out both structural and cosmetic panel repairs on commercial vehicles of all types
2. Removing, repairing and aligning panels in line with manufacturer-approved processes
3. Using up-to-date repair equipment and techniques to ensure excellent finish and accuracy
4. Working to productivity, quality and safety targets
5. Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workshop environment
What We’re Looking For:
6. Previous experience as a Panel Technician within a bodyshop or commercial vehicle environment
7. Knowledge of BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van Standards
8. Confident with MIG/MAG welding and modern panel repair methods
9. ATA accreditation or similar is an advantage
10. Commercial chassis or cab alignment experience is desirable
11. Strong detail orientation and quality focus
12. A team player with good communication and work ethic
