What You'll Do
* Delivering an outstanding customer proposition. Manage the Branch, serve customers, check deliveries, pick items from the warehouse and stock shelves. Be prepared for varying conditions and take pride in leading and motivating a team to achieve great results.
* Day-to-day responsibilities: Delivering great service by ensuring your team provides a great customer experience and drives sales through service.
* Mucking in: Help the team get the job done by checking and unpacking deliveries, opening and closing the branch, stocking shelves, cleaning the branch and putting orders together.
* Inspiring: Encourage a positive mindset, build a culture of feedback, praise and recognition.
* Asking questions and building relationships: Ensure your team receives development, support future business growth and succession, and ensure customers leave with everything they need for the job.
* Leading: Coach, motivate and engage your team to create a great place to work where engagement is key.
* Building a fun working environment: Maintain product availability and branch standards while making the branch a place people enjoy working at.
