OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to support our client in Deeside on a short-term assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, maintaining accurate delivery records, and supporting warehouse operations where required.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery timings or potential delays.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are correctly secured for transport.
* Carry out routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
* Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
* Support warehouse activities such as inventory management and general organisation.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a driving or delivery role is desirable.
* Full, valid UK driving licence.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Good level of physical fitness for loading/unloading duties.
