Due to continued growth, they are offering a 12‑month Fixed Term Contract for an AR/Credit Controller who is keen to build their career in a supportive finance environment. Your new role As the AR/Credit Controller, you will take ownership of the debtor ledger and play a key role in ensuring smooth payment processes. Key responsibilities include: Managing and maintaining the sales ledger Chasing outstanding debt and reducing aged balances Issuing invoices and credit notes, often through manual Sage processing Reconciling customer accounts and resolving queries Producing aged debtor reports for senior management Supporting month‑end processes Building relationships with clients and internal teams Assisting the Finance Manager with additional finance duties What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control Confident, hands‑on experience using Sage, especially manual input Strong communication and relationship‑building skills A proactive, ambitious mindset, ideal for someone wanting to progress in their career Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Construction or CIS experience is beneficial but not essential.
