Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Leader to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in branded restaurants and a flair for cooking, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Kitchen Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
* Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
* Assist in food production, cooking, and serving to maintain workflow during peak hours.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
* Train new team members on kitchen procedures, food safety practices, and equipment usage.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering as needed.
Experience
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
* Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
* Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a knack for motivating and developing team members.
