Apprentice Dental Nurse – Bupa Dental Care
You will achieve a Level 3 qualification following an 18‑24 month training programme. Prior to the end‑point assessment, you must achieve Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE grades A to C) and provide evidence of completion.
Responsibilities
* Provide the best patient care from the moment a patient walks into a practice until they leave.
* Support dental professionals by giving chair‑side assistance to enable the highest level of patient care.
* Apply knowledge of infectious disease transmission and prevention.
* Use dental materials, equipment and resources appropriately.
* Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
* Maintain legislative compliance and adhere to regulatory requirements.
* Perform clinical skills and deliver patient care and management.
* Promote health and wellbeing to patients.
Qualifications and Compensation
* £12.71 an hour until qualified.
* Must achieve Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A–C).
* Complete an 18‑24 month apprenticeship to reach Level 3 GDC‑registered dental nurse status.
