team at Jang, a vibrant restaurant Jang, located in the Mezzanine of the

About
the Role
As
a Sushi Chef at Jang, you will play a key role in our kitchen,
responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi and Asian-inspired
dishes. You will be working closely with the Head Chef and supporting the
kitchen’s day-to-day operations. If you have a strong passion for Japanese and
Korean cuisine and want to be part of a growing restaurant that values

Responsibilities:
* Prepare sushi and other
Asian-inspired dishes to the highest standards.
* Support the Head Chef with
the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
* Ensure Health & Safety
standards are adhered to and communicate these effectively to the
team.
* Collaborate with the kitchen
team to produce high-quality food and maintain a positive work
environment.
* Maintain a clean and organized
kitchen to meet hygiene standards.
The
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience: Extensive
knowledge of sushi preparation is essential! Previous experience in a
similar role within an Asian cuisine restaurant is highly
desirable.
* Skills: A passion for
creating high-quality dishes with a keen eye for detail.
* Work Ethic: Highly
motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
* Team Player: Ability to
work well within a team, supporting colleagues and the Head Chef.
* Knowledge: Understanding
of Korean and Japanese cuisine is a bonus.
* Legal Right to Work: Must
have legal rights to work in the UK.
What We
Offer:
* Salary: from £15.77 to
£17 per hour, depending on the experience.

* Working Schedule: Monday
to Saturday
* Holidays: 28 to 30 days
per year (increasing with service).
