Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical)
Based in the Dungannon area my client is a market leading equipment manufacturer who are involved in the automotive sector. Role - Senior Design Engineer
* Lead critical design projects
* Mentor junior Design Engineers
* Innovative design solution generation for New Product Introductions, service fixes and product improvements.
* Design detailing, Accurate BOM compilation and drawing release.
* Prototype build support and testing Ensure the product, system design, meets all Legislation, Customer Requirements, and system Cost Targets.
* Coordinating with other parts of the engineering team as required.
* Failure investigation and analysis, including introduction of containment and countermeasures.
* Identification and implementation of cost reduction opportunities.
Person - Senior Design Engineer
* Experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer with at least 5 years experience within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment such as quarry machinery is essential.
