The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized learning and care to pupils with additional needs. Youll help to create a nurturing and structured environment where every child can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN
* Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans
* Assist with learning activities tailored to pupils' needs
* Promote positive behavior, emotional regulation, and engagement in lessons
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and external agencies
* To support Student within the learning and / or residential environment in order to promote each student's intellectual, physical social, emotional and spiritual development and to promote a caring environment by providing a high standard of care including toileting, washing, bathing and mealtime assistance.
* Foster an inclusive, safe, and respectful classroom atmosphere
