Overview

Invictus Education Trust. Vacancy for Attendance & Admissions Officer at Pedmore High School. 37 hours per week. Term Time + 2 weeks (41 weeks). To start as soon as possible.

Location: Pedmore High School, Dudley, West Midlands. The school is part of a Multi Academy Trust comprising six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students.


Responsibilities

* Support school staff and students with general administrative tasks such as typing, filing, and collating data.
* Act as a school first aider, dealing with first aid issues as and when needed.


Qualifications and Requirements

* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills with effective written and oral communication.
* NVQ2 Administrative/Customer Service Qualification or other appropriate equivalent qualification or experience.
* Good organisation skills, ability to deal with a variety of tasks, prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.


Safeguarding and Recruitment

In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, the Trust will carry out an online search on all shortlisted candidates. Pre-employment checks include an enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List information, identity checks, online checks, and verification of professional qualifications and references. This role involves regulated activity and is therefore subject to safeguarding checks.

These include an enhanced DBS check and relevant information as part of the recruitment process. Further details are available in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2025.
