Responsibilities
* Install, service, and repair gas appliances and plumbing systems in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
* Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete tasks accurately.
* Carry out welding and carpentry work as required for system modifications or repairs.
* Assist with heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely and efficiently.
* Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and time taken for each task.
* Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards.
Skills
* Proven experience in plumbing, gas engineering, or related trade.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry tools.
* Strong mechanical knowledge of gas systems, piping, valves, and fixtures.
* Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and system specifications.
* Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and working in confined or elevated spaces.
* Valid driving licence preferred for site travel requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
