Join Our Team as a Senior Price Risk Manager – Commodities!
Mars is on the lookout for a Senior Price Risk Manager to spearhead our commodity price risk strategies. In this pivotal role, you will manage derivatives positions and navigate the dynamic markets of cocoa, sugar, dairy, and grains, all while protecting our business value. Reporting directly to the Head of Commodity Price Risk Management, your expertise will be essential in steering us through volatility.
What We’re Looking For
* Significant experience in commodity or currency trading, market research, or price risk management.
* Demonstrable expertise in utilizing futures, options, and other derivative instruments.
* Strong analytical capabilities paired with a performance-driven mindset.
* Experience in soft commodities or broader raw material markets is preferred.
* A Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, supply chain, mathematics, or a related field.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage commodity price risk.
* Execute derivative transactions (futures, options, OTC), ensuring compliance with internal policies and market regulations.
* Monitor market trends and conduct analysis to inform risk strategies and decision-making.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights into commodity markets and exposure.
* Craft verbal and written communications that enhance business understanding and decision-making on commodity markets.
* Contribute to global market intelligence and reporting.
* Ensure alignment with internal controls, governance standards, and financial reporting requirements.
