Job overview
We are seeking an experienced, innovative Renal Dietitian to join our expanding team of Dietitians, delivering integrated acute and community services across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their clinical and leadership skills within the Dietetic Service, utilizing advances in technology to support patients across inpatients, outpatients, dialysis units, and the home haemodialysis team. They will also support band 5 dietitians and assistant practitioners within the wider team.

Key responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, interpret, and manage a specialist caseload of complex patients as an autonomous practitioner, adhering to professional standards and regulations.
* Develop specialist knowledge and clinical skills through experience and postgraduate training.
* Collaborate with colleagues across Care Groups to deliver a cohesive, user-led service ensuring high standards of patient care, efficient patient flow, and safe discharges.
* Work with team coordinators and senior therapists to ensure effective training, supervision, and appraisal within the team.
* Contribute to the delivery of an efficient operational service.
* Provide specialist advice and support within the Therapy Centre, across the Trust, and the wider health economy.
* Maintain highly effective communication with patients, carers, colleagues, and the multidisciplinary team.
