We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Duties
* Assist children with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
* Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and personal growth
* Provide emotional support and encouragement, fostering a nurturing atmosphere
* Maintain clear communication with children, families, and other professionals involved in care
* Document progress and any changes in behaviour or circumstances accurately
* Drive to various locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for appointments or activities
* Utilise IT skills to manage records and communicate effectively with team members
Requirements
* Experience working with children is essential; prior experience in childcare is highly desirable
* Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and their families
* Ability to develop and implement care plans based on individual needs
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation purposes
* Proficiency in IT for record keeping and communication tasks
* A compassionate nature with a commitment to supporting others in their development
