Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Sutton CouncilRate: £36.56 per hour (UMB)Contract: Full-Time | 6-Month Maternity CoverHybrid Working Available
Sutton Council is seeking a skilled Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to cover for final six months You'll work with disabled children and young people, managing a caseload of complex cases involving major adaptations and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload involving complex equipment and home adaptation cases.
* Conduct assessments, write reports, and provide professional recommendations.
* Advise internal and external staff on disability-related needs and interventions.
* Collaborate with housing, health, and voluntary sector partners to deliver integrated services.
* Maintain accurate case notes and data for reporting and audit purposes.
* Contribute to service improvement through training, working groups, and implementation of new guidance.
Requirements:
* Experience in paediatric occupational therapy, preferably in a local authority setting.
* Strong knowledge of equipment, adaptations, and relevant legislation.
* Excellent assessment, documentation, and multi-agency collaboration skills.
* HCPC registration and a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
* Enhanced DBS (can be processed via agency).
* Right to work in the UK.
