A global engineering business within the advanced manufacturing and technology sector is seeking an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Specialist to join their team in Sunbury-on-Thames.

🔧 The Role
The Senior Supplier Quality Specialist will lead supplier performance initiatives, manage audit programmes, and develop quality processes aligned with business goals. You’ll partner closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Project teams to ensure suppliers meet expectations on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and implement the Supplier Audit Management Plan.
* Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards and monitoring processes.
* Lead root cause analysis (8D) and drive robust corrective and preventive actions.
* Maintain the Approved Supplier List and ensure documentation is accurate and compliant.
* Support supplier selection and approval for New Product Introductions (NPI).
* Drive continuous improvement and lean practices across the supply chain.
* Support and participate in third-party and internal audits.

* Proven experience in supplier quality or supplier development within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of quality systems, auditing, and root cause analysis.
* Analytical, structured, and detail-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills, confident engaging with suppliers at all levels.
