Tutors Required (EOTAS - Wokingham, Berkshire)
Quantum Scholars are working with local authorities and alternative provision settings to recruit experienced tutors to support pupils across Wokingham and the surrounding Berkshire area.
This role involves delivering 1:1 tuition or small group sessions to students who are currently out of mainstream education, often through EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) provision.
About the Role
Delivering tailored tuition sessions in core subjects (e.g. English, Maths, Science)
Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, and behavioural challenges
Working either in the home, community settings, or alternative provision centres
Building strong, supportive relationships to re-engage students with learning
Requirements
QTS is preferred, but experienced tutors without QTS will be considered
Experience working with vulnerable learners or those outside mainstream education
Strong behaviour management and adaptability
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Must have the right to work in the UK
