Job Summary

Job Title: Educational Psychologist (Hybrid work)

Location: Hybrid work from home, school, or office as needed

Hours: 37.5 per week (Term time); full-time, part time, and job share options available

Salary: £63,372 (pro‑rated to £57,738 based on 41 working weeks); £55,000 to £60,000 a year

Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Full-time


Responsibilities

* Deliver specialist psychological reports for key stakeholders and professionals within the wider network.
* Use applied psychology to co‑create strategies that remove barriers to learning for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and needs analyses to ensure tailored, effective support.
* Collaborate in the Trust‑wide Clinical MDT, contributing to supervision and engaging in quarterly learning spaces.
* Support and mentor Assistant Psychologists, helping shape training placements for future Educational Psychologists.
* Deliver inspiring training programmes within the Trust and to external partners.
* Uphold the highest professional standards (BPS and HCPC) and commit to ongoing professional development.
* Help raise the profile of the Therapy and Specialist Support Services through learning papers and wider professional engagement.


About You

* Doctorate in Educational Psychology and HCPC registration.
* Significant post‑qualification experience supporting children and young people in educational settings.
* Expertise working with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and mental health challenges.
* In‑depth knowledge of current educational systems and SEND frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with staff, parents, carers, and professionals.
* Confidence, compassion, collaborative spirit, and innovative mindset.
